Reviving the art of the loom

At the laboratory of the Kalamata Lyceum Club a loom from Messenia was recently revived with the help of the nuns of the Holy Monastery of Saints Constantine and Helen at Kalamata. The loom which was repaired, equipped and assembled with great care and love, will stimulate the creation of educational programs for both primary and High School pupils which will focus on the traditional techniques of dress making with emphasis on weaving.
